I was once told that to be helpful on your career, then you need to love what you do. As well as being a massage therapist would be exactly what I love! Regular I’m in a position to assist people in their journey to health, while it’s by way of a series of treatments or only a relaxation massage.
I take pride in what I do, and give my best to all my customers whom I see. As a young kid growing up in the nation, in Dauphin MB, I loved playing with all the pets that I had. I was frequently discovered cradling my cats to sleep in my lap for hours.
Perhaps this was where I began to realize, that ‘comfort’ would be my future career! I still remember the afternoon I got my first ‘mini’ massage, and also just the way I felt later. As I saw the other pupils broke away from the booth after their massage with enormous grins and suggestions for their friends to try it, then I knew that I was on to something.
From that moment I determined this was the profession I needed and I went to get it. I graduated as an RMT in Wellington College of Remedial Massage Treatment. This was likely among the most exciting days of my entire life! Since that time I’ve experienced the power and recovery that massage provides both as a therapist and a client.
It still amazes me that people can see results straight away in the majority of instances, whether large or little, the advantages are indisputable and rewarding to become part of. Since my graduation, along with Swedish and deep tissue massage I’ve taken continuing education classes in Pre and Postnatal massage and Labor and Delivery Support that I would love to continue and further pursue.
It’ll be worth it!
I genuinely enjoy watching the smiling and thankful faces of my customers following a massage, and knowing that I really did well — I made somebody’s day a bit better, a bit slimmer. I believe in what I do, and urge anybody who hasn’t yet tried massage to provide me a call now (488-CARE). It’ll be worth it! I look forward to meeting you personally, so that you are able to find the care now for a better tomorrow! Telephone our Winnipeg chiropractic office now!
